This batch file prints "Hello, world!".
Normally, batch files print every command they execute. This is not wanted here, therefore it's suppressed with the following command:
<<hello.bat>>= @echo off
After that, the message is printed with the following statement:
<<hello.bat>>= echo Hello, world!
Alternatively, you can switch off echoing for just one line:
<<hello2.bat>>= @echo Hello, world!
